OverRide Affiliate Commission Program

My Affiliate Program will allow you to pay special affiliate commissions rates or fees on specific actions, with the Over Ride Feature.

This feature will allow you to over-ride: your base affiliate commissions structure (flat fee vs. commission), your per-Affiliate commission rates, your per-category commission rates and your promotional offers.

Affiliate Commission Program Information

The Over-Ride Feature will work for you if you have a specific product or a specific action for which you'd like to pay a specific commission -- resulting from the completion of a specific order form. (This order form will be specially encoded to use the "over ride" rate, regardless of the sale amount, the affiliates comission rate, etc.)

Affiliate Commission Program Tracking

This option is included free of charge with your MyAP account, if you can designate a specific product ID or SKU within your order form (50 characters or less), determine the commission rate for that ID or SKU and can pass both though to MyAP. Your Transaction History report will display a column with the product ID/SKU along with the other transaction details. This option is included free of charge with your MyAP account. (Note: The per ID/SKU commission rate cannot be changed per affiliate with this option.)

Custom programming to store the commissions for each ID/SKU within your MyAP account. If you are able to designate a specific product ID or SKU within your order form, but are unable to determine the commission rate for the ID or SKU and pass it to MyAP, this option will work for you. We’ll store the ID/SKUs and their associated commission rates for you. When new transactions are processed, MyAP will read the ID/SKU and will add the appropriate commission to the referring affiliate's record. (Note: The per ID/SKU commission rate cannot be changed per affiliate with this option.) This option is available for a $195 custom programming fee.

Over-Riding the commission structure can help you reward your Affiliates as you desire.

Two Examples are illustrated below:

Sales from a specific form
If your site is, or can be, setup to offer a variety of products through various order forms or order pages, Over-Riding commissions for one or more of the products may work for you.

For Example:
Let's say that you have a Search Engine Marketing site. On this site you offer several versions of Search Engine Marketing Software, for which you pay a handsome 20% comission rate for sales, regardless of the value of the software purchased; these orders go through your "main" order form.

Now, you'd like to offer a new "Submission & Optimization Service", but, for one reason or another, you can only offer a commission rate of 15% for all affiliates.

So, when customers come to your site, they'll be choosing between a software package and a service. Your ordering system, then, can be setup with two distinct order forms: One for software, one for the service.

Using these two order forms, you could offer your Affiliates an over ride rate for sales of the service.

The "main" order form will act as normal: affiliates will receive their appropriate commission rate, based on their specific agreement with you, their affiliate category, or a live promotion.

However, the "Service" order form, will tell My Affiliate Program to OverRide the affiliate's commission rate with the 15% rate.

Other Specific Actions
My Affiliate Program will also let you OverRide your commission structure for other specific actions. You can use it to offer a commission on leads, downloads, any other measurable action.

For Example:
Imagine that your Affiliate Program is paying Affiliates 25% of each sale they refer to you. But, you'd also like to offer them a small dollar amount each time that a visitor they've referred fills out your "Request More Information" lead generation form.

With the OverRide system, you can attribute, for example, a $1 Flat Fee to the lead generation form. Each time a visitor fills out the form, My Affiliate Program will OverRide the referring affiliate's normal commission rate with a $1 flat fee to the Affiliate's comission totals.
